The Vita European Foulbrood (EFB) Diagnostic Test Kit allows beekeepers to test for EFB in honeybee larvae quickly and easily. 

  • Reacts specifically to antibodies associated with the Melissococcus plutonius pathogen, responsible for EFB
  • The kit performs as effectively as standard laboratory tests and has been validated by international institutes, including the National Bee Unit of the Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA)
  • Positive result indicates the presence of the EFB pathogen, while a negative result means it’s not detected in the sample
  • Kit is disposable and must be stored at room temperature (18–25°C) in its unopened foil pack for best results
  • Includes full instructions on proper handling, troubleshooting, and interpretation of results.

Processing Time

All orders placed will be processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Shipping

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and the total weight of your order. We use a range of couriers to ship your order, including (but not limited to): CouriersPlease, Aramex, Australia Post, TNT.

Please note, bulky items may require a manual freight quote by our Customer Service. If your order is too large for online calculation, this will be displayed during checkout with additional instructions.
